Please have the timecode counter display time passed rather than time remaining as clients get confused when they use it to give feedback1 vote
Add a preference to turn the red badges off.1 vote
We changed the colour of the badges a while back to make them less in-your-face. Hopefully that satisfies the underlying concern with the red badges…
Ability to select the poster frame for a video preview.1 vote
Video files have an ‘Update poster image’ option to select the current frame as a new poster image.
On the player window in the power user console have a export frame button. When clicked it will export the current frame that the player is paused on as a .jpg image to save.1 vote
I know currently you can drop a file to the dock icon on the Mac to start a new upload for Send - what would be even better is the ability to drag your file to the Send icon on the sidebar in the Mac app - as it stands now it doesn't do anything.
Would love to see it switch from whatever tab it's on to "Send" and start an upload :)1 vote
You can now drag/drop files onto specific menu items within Digital Pigeon to initiate a new Send or Share.
Add Received date and time on Recieved material. I knoew we can check the emails - but it would be nice to be able to see directly on the file in the app1 vote
Being able to find the most recently changed uploads would be advantageous.
There is currently functionality to sort by various means in the upload list. Adding modified date would enhance the options available there.21 votes
This functionality is now available in the drop-down to the left of the search field.
When viewing multiple files in the full-screen view it would be good to maintain where you are up to when moving between files.
This would assist in being able to do A/B mixes for audio editing or checking various different versions of particular uploads.0 votes
We now retain the current playback position when navigating between file previews in our full-screen view where comments are available.
Rather than clicking on various timeline points to move through an audio file it would be good to be able to scrub through the preview.
This would be more in line with existing functionality for digital audio editing.0 votes
Scrubbing will rely on the preview being completely buffered before it is able to function correctly. Playing the preview will display a buffered line as well as the current playback position.
Currently when another Digital Pigeon member sends you files they appear in your received list. You don't have the ability to delete them as you aren't the owner of the upload.
This creates an interesting scenario if you have already dealt with the upload. If you receive quite a lot of things there could be a lot of uploads to scroll through to find what you are looking for.
Adding the ability to hide these uploads would make finding other things simpler.1 vote
The option to remove pigeon-to-pigeon is now available under the advanced search form.
It would be handy if the desktop client had single sign on capability with Active directory.1 vote
Currently comments are sorted chronologically. It would be good to be able to sort by the place they are presented in the video/audio clip.4 votes
Add a feature so clients can make comments on their videos/ images, highlight areas at specific points etc just like FrameIO and Hightail do...1 vote
This feature has been available for a while. You can read more about it here: http://www.digitalpigeon.com/blog/2015/7/20/aniffv6ob42l6v6leiusk0psm1lfmq.
What I think would be helpful (especially if you recieve a LOT of files) is a badge on the apps (PC/Mac/iPhone) to indicate an unopened/unlooked at recieved file.
That way you'd never forget about them (even though having emails is a great idea !)1 vote
This was done a while back as part of the new notification features. See https://www.digitalpigeon.com/software-updates/blue-badge-notifications-make-activity-tracking-even-easier/ for more details.
Notification to sender when DP notification emails bounce back because of firewalls or spam filters.1 vote
Digital Pigeon will send a bounce notification when a delivery issue is detected. Unfortunately destination mail servers will often consume email and not return errors…
As we often send multiple files, it would be useful to see at a glance a total file count just to double check all the file have been sent.1 vote
The file details display now includes the number of files included in the upload
Can you make it so we can hide what time it was posted at?1 vote
If you click the minimal option when customising your design this will hide the creation time of the upload.
File modified details will be displayed only in the full screen view and this i sthe last modified date on the file system, not when the file was uploaded.
Can you send a reminder to client if not downloaded?
Either automatically or manually?1 vote
We have added 2 options to remind recipients. Either use “Options > Remind recipients” or under the “Activity” tab against each recipient is an option to resend the notification email.
Standard "Users" in the system don't need access to the account receive link and it creates an issue where they have to determine whether to use the account or personal link on the "Receive" area of the application.
Removing this link will keep the functionality in line with the fact that only "Power Users" and above have access to see all files in the account.0 votes
For larger setups an admin will need access to every users personal receive link. Currently this is only available to the user when they log into the application. This creates an admin issue for the person managing the system.
Adding the personal receive link to the user page under the "Users" menu would mean that the admin isn't reliant on the individual users to send through their details.0 votes
