Implement tagging/label functionality to make it easier to organise and find uploads.
For example: All uploads related to a specific project/job could be tagged with "projectXYZ". This tag could then be used to quickly find these items as a group.45 votes
We’re pleased to (finally) announce support for the ability to tag and filter your uploads based on tags.
Users with ‘power user’ permissions and up can manage the tags from https://digitalpigeon.com/app/settings/tags. Applying tags to your uploads is as easy as clicking the tagging icon that appears towards the top left of each uploads.
A blog post is on the way with more detail.
I want to upload files today and have them automatically send out at a nominated time the next day.33 votes

Email notifications to clients advising their files have uploaded successfully to us.27 votes
The option to email people uploading files to your account is now live.
To enable the emails click on “Received” and then “Settings” in the dashboard area. Check the checkbox there and save the change.
If you have to send or share files to a group of many contacts over and over again it would be great to be able to create groups out of the contacts to simplify the sending process.27 votes
You can now tag contacts with a group name and use that name when adding recipients to uploads.
We will follow up with a blog post about this soon
Add support for rich text formatting to the email footer field available on Manage -> Profile.23 votes
Being able to find the most recently changed uploads would be advantageous.
There is currently functionality to sort by various means in the upload list. Adding modified date would enhance the options available there.21 votes
This functionality is now available in the drop-down to the left of the search field.
We've noticed that sometimes the thumbnail isn't suitable, it would make the page we send clients look much more professional if we had a little more control.20 votes
This functionality is now available for all videos.
To save a poster image, play the video to the frame you wish to use and then click the icon that looks like a picture located under the preview.
This would be a premium feature that would enable fast downloading from different locations around the globe by utilising a CDN (content delivery network).18 votes
This functionality is now available. We will be posting an update on the blog about it in the coming days.
Anyone currently having an Enterprise plan will be able to enable CDN distribution.
The email addresses which we send to typically include a producer and their clients. Often a producer will often want to know if the file has been passed on to the client, not just them. So, I'm thinking that the way around this might be to allow users to "Show Recipients" in the email or download link. Would be a time saver for us and our clients!14 votes
We have added a set of permissions to apply to recipients and quick-links. One of these is the ability to ‘show recipients’. All recipients will get listed in both the email and on the download page. This is available in the new dashboard which will be available in a desktop app update shortly.
It would be great if after uploading a file, you could rename how it appears once shared. For example if I upload test_v04_rough.jpg, I can rename it to appear to the client as Test Version 412 votes
Separate Archive tab to clean up sent files list10 votes
We now can display only archived files by picking “Archived” from the filter at the top of the uploads list.
It would be great if you could customise the look of outgoing emails, and apply your own logos and designs like you can on YouSendIt.10 votes
We’ve dramatically simplified and cleaned the email format.
The banner logo at the top of my customizable page should link to my company's site.9 votes
This functionality has been completed.
If you populate your website value under “Settings > Account” this will be used as a link for the logo on any of your customised designs.
when you drop a file to upload, it automaticlly starts uploading while you are writing a message, which is great.. only thing is sometimes, because of that, you think you have pushed the send button and you haven't. You could have setting that will allow you to automatically send you message if you have a recipient, and the file is fully upload, maby after 30mins, of not being touched. Or have DP notify you that your have a merssage ready to be sent after a set amoumnt of time whn it ready to go.8 votes
A notification will appear ether as a desktop notification, or in the bottom-right of the application when files have completed uploading.
It would be great to be able to delete old sent messages en masse to free up account space.8 votes
The new app allows you to quickly archive and delete files using keyboard shortcuts…
With your mouse hovering over the list you can use the up and down arrows to navigate the list, you can then use the ‘a’ and ‘d’ keys on your keyboard to archive or delete files and finally ‘enter’ to confirm the action.
Let me know if that meets your needs.
All the status lines are in grey. They look very similar. "Files accessed" or "Files not accessed" especially when there are over 6-8 people's emails listed in the one send.
"Files accessed" to be green text or have a small green dot next to it.
"Files not accessed" to be red text or have a small red dot next to it.
On a quick glance, it would be very helpful.
Client Selection Tool
When you send files for a client to choose from (like multiple photos, voice overs, music etc) it would be great if files had a checkbox - so the recipient can choose which files they want - and then when they submit choices and email comes back to you with their file selections.6 votes
We have just rolled out our Feedback and approvals functionality. This allows recipients to approve or decline specific files in an upload and provide comments and markup against the files.
As part of this functionality we have a digest of activity that is emailed to the recipients and the uploader to inform them of the changes.
Customers may wish to restrict access to individuals to upload in the same way that we currently do for downloads.
The suggestion entails the specification of a password that should be entered before the upload screen is made available. The password can then be made available to those who should be able to upload.
An alternate method of implementing this is to embed the upload widget into a page that already sits behind the customer gateway on their own website although not all customers have that functionality.6 votes
