Implement tagging/label functionality to make it easier to organise and find uploads.
For example: All uploads related to a specific project/job could be tagged with "projectXYZ". This tag could then be used to quickly find these items as a group.45 votes
We’re pleased to (finally) announce support for the ability to tag and filter your uploads based on tags.
Users with ‘power user’ permissions and up can manage the tags from https://digitalpigeon.com/app/settings/tags. Applying tags to your uploads is as easy as clicking the tagging icon that appears towards the top left of each uploads.
A blog post is on the way with more detail.
Currently when you are typing in the recipients field a list of suggestions is presented matching what has been typed.
Hitting tab should select the first suggestion. Right now what happens is that you get a validation error as you have only typed part of the email address into the field.4 votes
Currently when a PDF is uploaded to Digital Pigeon we generate a preview of the first page of the PDF.
Now that we have feedback and approvals it would be good to allow comments to be added to all pages of a PDF document and not just the initial page.6 votes
We now have full preview functionality for PDF files. Unfortunately to do this we had to disable the ability to markup the PDF documents.
Standard comments are still able to be performed.
Can you send a reminder to client if not downloaded?
Either automatically or manually?1 vote
We have added 2 options to remind recipients. Either use “Options > Remind recipients” or under the “Activity” tab against each recipient is an option to resend the notification email.
Simple be able to export the comments to a word or text file.5 votes
When viewing a set of comments for a file you can now export them into CSV format. We plan on adding plain text as well for enhanced readability down the track.
Add a feature so clients can make comments on their videos/ images, highlight areas at specific points etc just like FrameIO and Hightail do...1 vote
This feature has been available for a while. You can read more about it here: http://www.digitalpigeon.com/blog/2015/7/20/aniffv6ob42l6v6leiusk0psm1lfmq.
The current button is tiny and easily missed by clients. This is very important when using the system for proofing and approval.3 votes
We have released updated functionality for feedback and approvals which highlights the options for approvals being performed.
As we often send multiple files, it would be useful to see at a glance a total file count just to double check all the file have been sent.1 vote
The file details display now includes the number of files included in the upload
Clients don't seem to realise that to download files you need to click on the file name. This should be clearer, and/or have an alternative pop up option when you click on an image.1 vote
Our updated feedback and approvals system has altered the options for downloading as well as introduced a quick help guide when initiated by the user
I would love to be able to send more than 1000 images at once. If the limit was increased to 1500 - 2000 it would be awesome.1 vote
Support for up to 2000 files is now live on the current plans.

Notification to sender when DP notification emails bounce back because of firewalls or spam filters.1 vote
Digital Pigeon will send a bounce notification when a delivery issue is detected. Unfortunately destination mail servers will often consume email and not return errors…
I want to upload files today and have them automatically send out at a nominated time the next day.33 votes
New functionality is now available that allows you to select delayed send periods up to 12 hours.
Standard "Users" in the system don't need access to the account receive link and it creates an issue where they have to determine whether to use the account or personal link on the "Receive" area of the application.
Removing this link will keep the functionality in line with the fact that only "Power Users" and above have access to see all files in the account.0 votes
Make the option to auto archive available in user settings1 vote
Create an email that has all activity for the day. This will allow people who don't want to receive frequent updates to still keep apprised of what is going on in the account.
It is important though to ensure that the most relevant information (approvals, downloads etc) is highlighted well in that email.2 votes

If using the desktop application you can go into Manage > Transfers and configure the number of simultaneous downloads.
When Digital Pigeon updates, don't automatically close all open Windows explorer windows once updated.1 vote
We recently released a new version of the
Windows desktop app that addresses a whole bunch of issues.
The new version is not available
as an update so you’ll need to download and install it from our
apps page: http://www.digitalpigeon.com/apps.
After installing the new version (the new version will appear as
‘Digital Pigeon v4’) I’d recommend uninstalling the old
This would be a premium feature that would enable fast downloading from different locations around the globe by utilising a CDN (content delivery network).18 votes
This functionality is now available. We will be posting an update on the blog about it in the coming days.
Anyone currently having an Enterprise plan will be able to enable CDN distribution.
Stop sending email notifications when files are expiring or provide the option to switch this on and off.0 votes
We currently allow you to stop these notifications. Look under “Manage > Profile” for the option labelled “when files are restored, or about to expire”
