I suggest you ...

Implement a global download accelerator (CDN)

This would be a premium feature that would enable fast downloading from different locations around the globe by utilising a CDN (content delivery network).

This functionality is now available. We will be posting an update on the blog about it in the coming days.

Anyone currently having an Enterprise plan will be able to enable CDN distribution.

With much of our staff overseas - the bottle neck is uploading to their closest server for fast download on their end. If we had the option to upload to australin servers, which then pushed/replicated the files to your European servers, possible option: "select which servers client will download from, once upload competes". Then files push from Australian servers to European servers ready for download. OR is there the option to upload to all servers and have the client software pick which server is closest for download, in terms of ping speeds etc. This would be optimal. For urgently fast transfers we still need to revert to google or Aspera Amazon as this bottle neck could mean failure to deliver on time.

Would be good if we could upload to the server in Sydney - then specify via a tickbox menu (which region) the recipient will most likely download it from: (Europe). And that post the upload, your system moved or replicated the files to the said server. This would streamline our process. As currently we are uploading in Sydney and Downloading in Europe (and time critical on both ends). Our tests indicate it's best to get the file up first, then a slower download rather than the reverse... Hope that makes sense, happy to talk this through. My email: robbie@artistsinmotion.co
