Activity Menu

Overview

The Activity Menu lets you view activities within Digital Pigeon. The menu is consists of two (2) tabs that include the Account activity and Your activity. These tabs have similar functionality but differ in usage.

The "Account activity" tab displays the activities of the account as a whole, therefore, access and actions of users associated with the account are listed in this tab.

The "Your activity" tab, on the other hand, displays activities related to the upload that you are associated with. You can access information from recipients accessing the uploads and system actions (e.g. expiration schedule notifications, uploads you accessed, expired files, etc.). However, you will not be able to access information for uploads that other users in the account have created unless they added you as a recipient to it.

1. On the Sidebar Menu, click Activity to open the Activity page.
2. In this page, there are two (2) tabs namely:
   • Account Activity
   • Your Activity
3. The activity tabs display details pertaining to the account and your activities that include:
   • Date Stamps: this detail displays the date and month in which the activity occurred.
   • Activity Icons: these icons signifies the activities that include viewing files, deleting files, file expiration, etc.
   • Activity Descriptions: these details describe the type of activities, the person who performs it and links to the files.
   • IP Address: the IP addresses are located at the right part of the page, this displays the IP addresses of the users who accessed the files.
     
     • Note: click the IP address to view more details. This opens the Extra Info window that displays:
       • Browser being used
       • Hostname
       • ISP
       • Location
4. To view previous activities, click the Show previous activity link.

Account Activity

The Account Activity tab displays all the activities on the account. This includes activities by other users associated with the account (Team members). See Working in a Team.

To view the account activities, click the Account activity tab. This opens the Account activity tab that displays:

• Date Stamps
• Activity Icons
• Activity Descriptions
• IP Address

To view the previous account activities, click the Show previous activity link.

Your Activity

The Your activity tab displays activities of uploads that you are associated with. Unlike the Account activity tab, other users' activities will not appear in this tab unless you are a recipient to their uploads.

To view your activities, click the Your activity tab. This opens the Your activity tab that displays:

• Date Stamps
• Activity Icons
• Activity Descriptions
• IP Address

To view your previous activities, click the Show previous activity link.

Viewing Sent, Shared and Received Files

Another way to view activities is at the file level. Uploads/received files have its unique way of displaying activities. In addition, more options are enabled for you to use. For more information about this method, see Viewing Sent/Shared File Activities.
