This help article is designed to cover the steps to resolve an invalid Receive Link. An invalid Receive Link is typically caused by the deletion or removal of the recipient that was associated with the link. Included below are some the error messages you may see as a result of an invalid Receive Link.
- "Highlighted receive link(s) below are invalid. Please update them to resolve the configuration problems."
- "The user(s) associated with this link are no longer available. Please choose new users."
- "There is a configuration problem with the file upload widget. Please contact the website owner"
- "The URL you are trying to access doesn't seem to exist. Please contact help@digitalpigeon.com for assistance."
The solution to resolving an invalid Receive Link is to add a new recipient to the link. Included below is the process to do so. Please note that an "Admin" or "Owner" role user is required to edit a Receive Link.
Step 1. Log into Digital Pigeon and Navigate to the Receive page.
Step 2. Click the "Cog" dropdown icon followed by the "Edit" option.
Step 3. The Receive Link edit page should appear displaying the following error "The user(s) associated with this link are no longer available. Please choose new users.
Step 4. Select new recipients for the Receive Link. You can choose a single recipient, multiple or the "All account users" option.
Step 5. Click "Save" and the Receive Link edit page should go away before you are presented with a "Link updated" message.
